Åland Adventure 2022
Partial Participation to the Adventure
It is possible to participate only in certain parts of this year’s Åland Adventure. This possibility is for example for those who live in Åland Islands, or who happen to be travelling there during the main event.
REGISTRATION FEE
The registration fee is a one-time fee of 20€ and it is invoiced no matter if you participate one or four partial events.
The registration fee includes Meetup Goodie Bag, a canvas bag with some surprises inside it as a greeting to all participants.
It includes also a Meetup Envelope – an envelope where you put your own meetup cards for signature circulation. It will be prepared for your own name.
The fee includes also a Name Badge. If you participate for the first time our events, you get the name badge lanyard and pocket for free. If you have lost the one you have got before, or need a new one, you have to pay 5€ per lanyard and 5€ per pocket (10€ both).

MEETUP IN MARIEHAMN

Postcrossing Meetup in Hotel Adlon, Mariehamn. Also the Artist of the Year, photographer Niclas Nordlund is at place telling about his work and introducing his photos. Possibility to buy his postcards and other photo products for special price. Coffee and tea included in price.
POSTCROSSING DINNER AT RESTAURANT NAUTICAL

Delicious dinner at Restaurant Nautical. One of the best restaurants in Mariehamn, with beautiful views. Join the group and enjoy local delicacies.
EXCURSION TO FÖGLÖ
WEDNESDAY 8.6. AT 8.30 – 20.30 / Föglö

The bus leaves from Hotel Adlon on Wednesday morning at 8. We will go to Svinö, Lumparland and take a ferry MS/Skarven to Degerby, Föglö. A professional guide is waiting for us and she will show and tell us about Föglö inside out. We will visit e.g. Föglö Church and Matsmårs Homestead Museum. We will stop by for a coffee and Åland pancake at Enigheten.
After the tour we will enjoy a lunch at Restaurant Seagram. The third meetup, Föglö Meetup, will take place there. We will continue preparing our postcards. Ice-cream with homemade cola sauce, meringues and strawberries is served with coffee.
In the afternoon we will head back to Lumparland where we will visit fisherman Anders Westerberg in Västerro. He will serve us delicacies made from fresh and local ingredients. This is a truly special place which you won’t forget!
The price includes bus trips, ferry trips, guided tour in Föglö, coffee and pancake in Enigheten, lunch in Seagram, coffee and ice-cream in Seagram and dinner at Västerro.
VISIT TO ÅLAND POST

The bus leaves from Hotel Adlon at 9. We will got to Sviby to meet people at Åland Post Frimärken. They will tell us about their work and news about stamps. Possibility to buy stamps and philatelic products, postcards and maxicards. You can leave your meetup postcards here for philatelic cancellation. We will take a traditional group photo here.
